I forgot they did give Trez the cleansing chemicals and he died and saw Selena- such a rollercoaster ending.

I love the Lassiter/Trez teleporting- all the almost war scenes were great.

I think this use of tribe is appropriate even by today’s standards- Trez and Iam are their own small tribe, broken away from their Shadow clan. Now they have a new tribe/clan- so touching.

So horrible how Trez wanted to kill himself in the fire and then said he had a gun hidden in the jacuzzi tub.

The funeral pyre details and descriptions were interesting. You really sympathize with Trez. You can see how bad he is- just like Tor was about Wellsey.

The Doc Jane this is the end scene is so hard to read- so sad- I wanted more Selena character development/time.

The description of Selena being all twisted in one room while everyone is out in the corridor waiting to hear the news/provide support- so sad.

Selena freezing up is written in such a terrifying way. I can’t imagine going that way- so horrific.
