this book is pretty much about extra terrestrial ant beings threatening the earth. So naturally the government picks children (at the age of six) out of their lives to fight a war with these bug things because out of all the more than capable adults to fight this war, children ranging from the age of 6 - 10 are the earth's best hope. Great. Besides that and the fact the kids act like adults, its pretty good.
