So i know this is supposed to be formal writing but I freaking knew they were going to kiss! They finally did and in a very cool nice place. Right now it feels like the stories mood is changing so fast she is all of a sudden all in Beau business at least it feels like and Beau got into yale but doesn't want to go and Maya figures it out by his mood because it was "that obvious"(Gevais 225).

At the moment I believe I am at the climax of the story, Maya is showing some interest in Beau and they have hugged and he was her go to person when Connor's lung collapsed. she states "I have no rational explanation why I did it, but I took a step closer and wrapped Beau up in a hug"(Gervais 181). Eventually they are going to kiss. My confusion is what are Beau's motives to be with her,are they deeper or simplistic?

Maya is starting to become more friendly and she is talking to Beau more and there actually seem like friends until Jackson comes and ruins everything, she even gets so mad as to ask Beau "WHY YOU FRIENDS WITH HIM"(Gervais 111)? Though that happened I think Maya has definitely developed as a person and I am predicting she is going to kiss Beau eventually.

Maya is starting to become really good friends with Nina and she is starting to becoming more aware of the amount of stress Beau and she "could at least understand the pressure Beau must feel about getting into the college of his choice"(Gervais 91). Though one thing is for sure since homecoming is popping up now, Beau is going to like her and she will decline due to her past experiences of homecoming.

At the moment, Maya is starting to get used to everyone at the hearing school except she longs to have more friends than just Nina. She is continuing to despise Beau but she is starting to open up to for example during lunch one day she "realized Beau and I had just been sitting there, smiling at each other, and I didn't know why"(Gervais 78). I think she is denying the fact that she likes him because he is popular.

So far in the book, Maya is being annoyed with everyone's incompetence. Everyone is offending her without knowing it but now a certain character Beau is starting to make an effort to learn ASL. I think the theme is more like a lesson, or like a message to all the readers to educate ourselves like Beau is doing in ASL and deaf people. I think Beau's efforts to understand Maya is going to turn into a romance in a way.

Currently, the main character (who is deaf) is going to a new school that is not a deaf school. She isn't comfortable about it and causes some struggle with the process. If you were in her situation what would you do? Personally I would run and freakout since communication would be hard for me.
