Its hard for me to tell if katniss has made the right or wrong choice here. She instantly fled for the woods for cover the moment she was allowed of her little stand in the arena. But there was a lake to her other side. I understand why she went with the pack first, she needed supplies but idid she have to go so far into the woods that she had a whole days worth of travling to do to get back to the lake?

I know what katniss was trying to do when she teamed up with rue but she also set herself up with disater. Rue bless her heart was a tough cookie but just didn´t have the survival skills in her to make it through the games. Katniss let the fact that rue reminded her of prim get to her. She didnt have to be the one to kill Rue,but shouldn´t have partnered up with her either

I know this book takes place in the future but some of the things in the capatol building is kinda familar. like the buttons on the shower to ajust it the way you want. Some people have somthing like that in there houses today. Its a little scary what the book says they have compared to what we have in real life.

Kantniss has volonteered for her sister prims place in the hunger games. On this train that is taking them to the capitol she is presented with tge best meal she has ever had. This girl has not had a decent meal in all her life and now thats shes bacicly going to die in the next few weeks she been given good food by the governmen? this whole sytem is all mest up
