I've gotten so used to the (finger snap) quick, quick, quick turn over of all the literary YA I've been reading that it's difficult for the slow progression of this novel to hold my attention. Housekeeping is one of my all-time faves. I haven't been drawn to the Gilead's in the same way. Idk.....
