Oh, Cardan, I still love you even though you're such an ass right now.

So. A few updates ago, I said that I don't like Locke. Well, now I officially hate him. And Taryn. What kind of person would do something like this to her own sister?

Oh God. This didn't just happen 🤭

I take back everything I said about Locke. I don't like him. I don't trust him. That guy's hiding something, isn't he?

Thoughts:

— I don't think Jude should trust Prince Dain. I'm smelling ulterior motives on his part. After all, he’s the only one who can control her now.
— Something happened to Taryn. I don't know what, but she's behaving strangely. What did you say to her, Cardan?
— I hate Valerian and Nicasia 😒 Locke seems to be alright, but I still hope he's not going to be a love interest.

As Cardan walks past the boy, apparently done with him, I am grateful that Cardan has five more worthy brothers and sisters; it's practically guaranteed that he'll never sit on the throne.

I don't know anything about this book and avoided as many spoilers as possible but my gut feeling tells me that this statement might be wishful thinking 😂
