Great improvement from the 1st book. The characters and the story are more composed. I have enjoyed reading it very much so far and looking forward to the climax... hehe
It's also much more pronounced that the story is set in the UK, it wasn't obvious before.

There are inconsistencies however, like shifters can't get infectious diseases in this, but in book 2 Lexi was worried about Rixon.
