I'm committed to finishing this sequel & it's yanked me in by the short hairs, again. But, the religious aspects are a big focus of this book, for those like me who hate having someone' beliefs shoved down their throat, this might be a difficult read.

I'm very uncomfortable with the near total religious focus of this novel & The Chosen actually refers to "god's chosen" so I'm starting to regret getting into this set. The religious parts of The Planner were unobtrusive & part of characters, but the sequel is like reading the bible. To me this ruins what started out as an excellent read. Maybe it gets better?
