Charlie’s intelligence is through the roof, which leads him to be able to not only speak on his progression, but also analyse it. He is set to be a part of a major symposium, where the surgery and new-found intelligence in both himself and Algernon are on display. Charlie cannot handle the circus act and flees with Algernon, only to discover that his new intelligence opens many odd doors for him. Soon things regress.
