Since my book is first person I can see all of Katniss's characteristics, thoughts, and in depth actions. During the plot you can really see all of Katniss's emotions and thoughts running through her head from the moment she volunteered, to the end of the hunger games. Since you can see her thoughts, you know much more about her feelings, and future actions compared to other characters.

The protagonist in my book is Katniss. We know this because she is the main character and also because she is the "good guy" of the story. The antagonist is the Capitol. We know this because it is the bad force that goes against the good force (Katniss.) Their relationship is that go against each other the whole book until one wins. In the Hunger Games, Katniss has to go against the capitol and participate in the

The author uses characterization to describe Katniss by giving an in depth view on her personality and actions. From her thoughts and actions the author shows that she is very mentally strong even though she lost her dad at an early age. She is very considerate and caring for her sister, and provides a large amount of food and money for the family. She is an outgoing person and always shows she wants to be the best.

One incident in my book that provoked a decision is when Katniss' little sister gets pick for the hunger games. This provokes Katniss to make the decision to volunteer for her sister in order to save her. Katniss did this because she loves her sister and would do anything for her, even if it includes sacrificing herself.

High impact words and phrases in my book such as heartless, neglect, weakness, cruel, ect. shows that the author is telling us that the people of Panem are getting horribly treated by their Capitol. This reflects in the tone of the book because the tone is what the author wants the feeling of the book to be like. By reading this book we feel the tone that the author gives about the Capitol.

My book that I am reading is the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is a very action packed book that toys with your emotions to make a very interesting plot. The Hunger Games lets you see into a whole different gruesome world that is controlled in a totally different way. My favorite part of the book is when Katinss volunteers in place of her sister in the hunger games. This part of the book begins a huge turn in the pl

The theme of the hunger games is survival. I can prove this by the whole idea of the hunger games. Katniss needs to survive n order to win. Another example is how Katniss and her family lives. They are very pore and it is hard to live in the districts. Even though it's a tough life Katniss and her family survives off getting things in different ways like hunting.

place of her sister in the hunger games. The dialogue reveals aspects of a character by showing there emotions and actions in words. You can truly know a character by what they say, do, and feel.
