Miyamoto's Five Rings is an insight into how this amazing warrior and philosopher lived his life and fought his battles. Although I do not actively participate in sword fights and have no relation to them, I have found the forms and teaching of Musashi can be applied to many aspects of life. I have recently finished the Book of Water, which talks about the Way of the Sword, and have started Fire.
