across the carriage to find a young man eyeing her nervously. He had caught her face-
pulling, she realised, and was speculating on her sanity. She was tempted to terrify
him with her special gorilla face, but instead she got out a notebook and added a few
squiggles to the brief list of things she wanted to buy.
