didn't like how every sentimental moment was ruined by...physical stuff; SpiCe should've been used more sparingly I got really annoyed with them wanting each other aLL the time; the tension (imo) was not built very well? wish it was better developed AND lasted longer; gonna make a quote that I highlighted public that just encapulates all of my feelings about freaking Bethany; anyway 2.5 stars but rounded down to 2

there was so many different plotlines interspersed throughout a pretty short book? there was bethany's sister's wedding, the reality show, the house flip itself, Wes's niece and the whole custody situation, the unstable half-sister literally pick a struggle or just a FEW the plot got so messy trying to balance everything; the quiet moments where they were just talking about their feelings were pretty good but...

rating is based on quality not enjoyment this time because usually I don't mind the details but this time :) not letting it slide; BetHaNy and WeS were pretty compatible but Bethany is so painfully .. not self aware and really annoying; not sure if this was supposed to be enemies to lovers but if it was then it was a very bad attempt; do not like how up-front Wes was with the attraction it was kind of...just a no
