Man, peel sure is obsessed with how the Mesopotamians showed their boobs huh?

Just got to the Ace Slut Shames A Lady A Bunch scene.

Against my better judgement I have picked this back up.

I don’t understand how something this weird and gross is also so boring. Wild to think these just WERE Doctor Who for a time.

Peel just introduced a whole side-branch of characters that are always topless (and crazy young). He keeps focusing on the grossest aspects of Mesopotamian culture. I’m not really sure the “historical accuracy” is worth all this.

Peel is...oddly fascinated by the sexual politics of Ancient sexual.

Lot more “heads smashed in” than I would expect from Doctor Who.

This thing is oddly lore heavy for an opening book. Like I would assume some forethought of DW before reading this but this thing assumes A LOT more than I would have expected.

This so far is Very Horny™️ (though the opening that’s basically a Mesopotamian court drama is Very Good)
