"Lies My Mother Told Me" by Caroline Spector - abandoned - Got 20% into this pretty long story and knew I was not going to be interested in it.

"Caretakers" by Pat Cadigan - 2 stars - It started out with so much promise, and then it was extremely long and meandering and didn't even come close to delivering on the foreshadowing that got me interested. How do such boring and pointless stories keep getting published?

"Virgins" by Diana Gabaldon - abandoned - got 1/3 of the way through this very long story and was not engaged in it. Maybe it would be more interesting to someone familiar with the series it is related to, so I won't give it a star rating.
