In the book "Drawing The Ocean", the main character, Sadie, is starting to like a boy named Travis Hartshorn. The only problem is that her friend, Erica, likes him too. There is a party this weekend at Travis' house, and Sadie might go with her friend Lila. I can tell that Sadie is anxious but eager towards Travis. Some words/phrases that show this are "Really?' I squeak" and "That's great' I say eagerly".

In the book "Drawing The Ocean", Sadie is currently going on a date with her crush, Travis Hartshorn. They are going to dinner but there a few of Travis' football friends there who wont stop annoying them. At the end of the night, they go to watch a movie and Travis and Sadie kiss at the very end.

In the book "Drawings the ocean" Sadie is faking her moms signature and she decides to take the Drivers Ed class. When its time, Sadie enters the class and she is the only girl there. The teacher shows a car driving film and Sadie is starting to second guess everything.

On page 102, it says "I shiver a little, dig my toes into the cold sand". The prepositional phrase is "into the cold sand" and this helps me visualize the main character Sadie (who is talking) sitting on the beach on a cold, cloudy day.

I can relate to the beginning of this book because the main Character, Sadie, just moved from California to the East Coast and switched schools. I recently changed schools from the OIS to the middle school, so I can relate to her through that.
