It's sad to know that these child services people aren't even really the villains. They're trying to fight for the kids' safety, though in this situation I can understand why both kids are freaked out. It is kind of reasonable for Alice to be in safe house for the moment, however. Alex doesn't have a hold on things and it's only temporary.
