After watching a movie about Tolstoy, The Last Station, I began researching the tolstoyan movement and was quite inspired. I picked up this book, which I confiscated from my parents' library, and am enjoying it tremendously! The depth if the many characters makes them truly dynamic and real to me. The way he has described every minute detail is beautiful! I am so glad I finally picked up this book!
