I actually have tears in my eyes and my soul aches. So many of the goodbye posts echo how I'm feeling right now. 'One Foot Out the Door' however says almost exactly what I want to say but still don't have the words for. It is beautiful and sad and I hate that it had to be written.

I'm on V: The Revolt, which is where I came in on and began to recreate the previous events. I'm looking forward to seeing some reviews I know.

The essay on Martial Law in Poland during the 80s NEEDS to be read. Not only because it has connotations with the current situation but as a warning and an understanding of what can happen in ANY country. We like to think something won't happen where we live because of 'x' but there is always a way to sell an idea as 'necessary' or 'for your protection' or 'to create a more friendly atmosphere'.

A lot of this I picked up before but it's nice to have it in one place rather then scattered (and not vulnerable to deletion). Also many of the...response reviews I somehow managed to miss. They have been well done and very interesting to read!
