I loved the first few chapters, but then realized that this is a reality TV plot conceit, and I'm just not into those anymore. I guess I would have known by reading the whole blurb, but all I saw was that the H/h had a fake engagement and I one-clicked since that's my catnip. Unfortunately, reality TV plots are so overdone these days that I'm sick and tired of them, no matter the writing skill of the author.
