Skipping half of part two to get to part three. First 2/3 of this book is a dull recount of recipes and salt works fighting other salt works for market dominance. Repeat ad infinitum throughout China, Europe, the colonialised Americas and even Incas/Native Americans.oh, and to add some interest? Taxes. Part 3 is more scientific. I hope it redeems this book.
