I feel like the tonist people are odd because he didn't seem to care that his sister just died. Also, they have a pool of water filled with deadly diseases for no reason. I think it was a good decision of Citras to decide that she wasn't going to glean children even if she gets in trouble for it just like Scythe Curie follows.

At first I felt bad for Citra for getting Curie for her mentor based off of what I've heard previously about her, but now I think she is a very good mentor and that Citra is lucky because Curie is very good at her job and doesn't abuse her power as Scythe Goddard does. She also teaches Citra how to become a respectable scythe just as scythe Faraday did.

I feel like something is truly unique about Esme because Scythe Goddard doesn't seem like he'd favor anyone or let anyone do whatever they want like he let's Esme. I think that she notices that Rowan is different and less mean as the other disciples of Goddard. I'm predicting that Rowan will eventually second guess himself on letting Citra win and him getting gleaned.

Rhonda's reaction was quite unexpected after Citra literally just told her that she killed her purposely in the past. I also feel like Scythe Curie is a lot different than people see her as because people always thought of her as this ruthless killer that gleaned the president, but after seeing who she truly is it seems like shes a quite respectable scythe that shows sympathy for the family of the victims she gleans.

I feel bad for Rowan and little bit for Citra. As soon as Xenocrates said that 2 scythe had come forward for them, I knew scythe goddard would be one of them. I wonder how Rowan will react since he was trained by Faraday so differently and since his new mentor is a terrible scythe.

I was not expecting for Faraday to do that for Citra and Rowan. At first it seems like something he'd never even do, but it makes sense that he would do it so one of them didn't have to be gleaned since he cared about them and wanted to be an honorable person. I just wonder what happens next since they lost their mentor and they don't have to compete for just one ring.

The decided punishment for the apprentice that doesn't get chosen is very harsh and I'm surprised that the head scythe would agree with it. This makes me wonder how Rowan and Citra will compete with each other since they don't want to kill each other, but don't want to die either. If I were Rowan I wouldn't of purposely answered wrong to help Citra because then they wouldn't have this problem.

It was a nice thing for Rowan to do that for Citra during the tests, but I feel like scythe Faraday isn't stupid and will catch onto it. I think that either he will be punished more for purposely answering wrong or punished less for being nice. If Rowan doesn't end up being picked for scythe though, he will most likely regret that decision alot since he could've increased his chances of being scythe.

I wonder what will happen if the thunderhead stops working eventually? Will they have to go back to regular government? Another thing that I'm wondering is how long it took to build.

Based off of how both of them has done during their apprenticeship so far, I believe that Rowan will probably be picked over Citra currently because it seems like other than letting Tyger in the house, he hasn't really done anything that Faraday has disapproved of yet.
