Well, I was excited about reading it until read some reviews which put me off a bit. *sigh* And it sounded so good too. The cover is cute though.

I couldn't feel for him.....party pooper again.:)
So wanted to love this. It's another book I've set aside, hoping I'll get further into it on my next try. Cutest cover of all time!

You are not alone. I've read quite a few negative reviews of this book.

I think my tastes are changing too. I'm attracted to almost every review I read, but the actual books are a bit of a chore to read or finish. I think I've reached a point where a good story and even an HEA aren't enough. I can't quit MM though, in part because the people who read it are about the best people ever, and the most supportive I've found on GR.
Alice, I read a few and they all make good points. Nila, lately except for a rare few, its been the same for me. I wont quit either....m/m is it for me.
It is understandable, Vio. After reading so many books in this genre. That is why I've been picky and setting aside that personal challenge of mine. I definitely don't read MMs as many as I used to and I prefer until other people review it first.

Trying new stuff is great, interspersing those reads with god ol' favourites to avoid a book burnout is better. :D
