Half, half! Lots will love it, you might Alice. My tastes are changing, not my favourite story.:(

Alice Well, I was excited about reading it until read some reviews which put me off a bit. *sigh* And it sounded so good too. The cover is cute though.

It is cute in parts, there were some things that put me off and Auggie was a bore while in human form. I am sure this was what the author meant to portray. I couldn't feel for him.....party pooper again.:)

Nila So wanted to love this. It's another book I've set aside, hoping I'll get further into it on my next try. Cutest cover of all time!

Phew I am not alone, it was a struggle but I finished it:)

Alice It is a great cover! It stands out among the all the naked torsos that usually occupy m/m covers.

You are not alone. I've read quite a few negative reviews of this book.

I think my tastes are changing too. I'm attracted to almost every review I read, but the actual books are a bit of a chore to read or finish. I think I've reached a point where a good story and even an HEA aren't enough. I can't quit MM though, in part because the people who read it are about the best people ever, and the most supportive I've found on GR.

Vio Alice, I read a few and they all make good points.

Nila, lately except for a rare few, its been the same for me. I wont quit either....m/m is it for me.

Ami It is understandable, Vio. After reading so many books in this genre. That is why I've been picky and setting aside that personal challenge of mine. I definitely don't read MMs as many as I used to and I prefer until other people review it first.

I think we have both slowed down heaps, compared to say a year ago. The pleasure has definitely vanished a rare gem in between keeps me hopeful.

Why did I stop? Branching out didn't work, sticking to what we know and love seems like a good idea.:)

Kat Trying new stuff is great, interspersing those reads with god ol' favourites to avoid a book burnout is better. :D

Yep, I have a few more books to squeeze in then a nice long fanfic stint is the way to go.
