Eyes in the Dark by Rachel Hawkins - 3 stars; another author I've not read. This is a solid enough scary story, but not particularly memorable. However, I liked the "voicey" writing, so I may check out something else by her.

Nature by Aprilynne Pike: 3-stars; this felt more like a couple of chapters from a book that a short story. I was intrigued by the premise and Pike's writing was nicely paced, though.
