In No Better Friends, Judy and the sailors were stuck on a deserted island after being shipwrecked. They barely survived, and they didn't have fresh water for 24 hours. Then a brave sailor goes to find help. As they were evacuating the island, they got captured by the harsh, cruel Japanese.

Judy and Frank are the main characters, but before they meet she is with other soldiers on a ship. One of these soldiers is Les, he on the ship that is shipwrecked with Judy and they survived together in the Jungle. Les shows the readers more about Judy character. Les's friendship with Judy shows us that Judy is loyal, protective, and bonds with Les and his crew.

My whole book is action-packed with details, when i am reading it i feel like i am watching a movie. One scene had me feeling their pain. They had been stuffed into a train that should hold 80 people per car but they stuffed 130 people. These people had bruises on their legs before this train ride. My legs felt like they had bruises on them and they were being squished together just like the guys in the train.

One connection I have made is in between myself and the book. One of the main characters in my book, Frank, is captured and living in a barrack with his best friend Judy(the dog). I am stuck in my house and my best friend, Finn (My dog), and he has helped me through these tough times just like Judy helps Frank. Dogs provide comfort and hope when we need it.

Judy is the main character of this book, and she is also a dog. George and Frank are two airman that have been with Judy a lot. One personality of Judy is that she is heroic, she barks like crazy when she hears incoming planes. She also found fresh water in an instance where the humans had been searching for fresh water for hours. Judy also has a good sense of smell, she is loyal, and she is brave.

The characterization of Judy, the dog, is cold. She is cold because there are very few things to keep her and the humans warm at night except for their clothes and themselves. She is very heroic on the island that night, she was digging down into the sand and found fresh water! This was important because they hadn't found fresh water yet, Judy saved a number of lives that night.

The Axis in WW2 is the antagonist in this book. I know this because the main character is the dog named Judy, and the opponent is the Axis. The Axis is the opponent because they have tried to bomb the Allies, Judy's team.

My book called "No Better Friends" is a informational. I know this because it has a narrator who never says "I". Also, it isn't only about one person, it is about WW2 and a dog. That is how I know it is informational.
