I heard a story recently about a man who was using his drone to film his neighbor's daughter and her friends while they were swimming in their backyard pool. The daughter's father got his rifle and shot the drone down. Whether the father could be held liable for the drone's destruction hinged on whether he owned the airspace above his property.
