"The use of public bathrooms is fraught with controversy and anxiety when it comes to transgender people" This part of the book really shook me and made me realize how many things I would consider "normal" in my everyday life are filled with anxiety for trans people because of ignorance.

"After school, the first thing Wyatt did when he got home was to throw off his pants and shirt and put on a skirt or dress" Wyatt (Nicole) knows who she is, this quote reflects how she has clear her identity, it's just a matter of time until she can show it to the world.
