April > Status Update

With a heavy heart I have to share that Joseph Kempler passed away on February 25, 2021. To be his daughter-in-law was a pleasure and it was my great privilege that he allowed me to write his memoir, The Altered I. I spent many hours with him on that project and he was very proud of the book. His own copy of the book is worn and tattered.
Anyone who met him thought he was a special person, always gentle and kind.
