Why does Miss Maudie hate her house? IN the book she says she hates her house. She also says that she loves whatever god grows in this earth.

In the book in page 40-50 they found a hiding place where they find 2 indian heads in a tree. I think her name Scout she found a piece of gum in that same tree. Jem told her to spit it out because she might never know if she might die.

In the book it's cool how they make us be suspicious. If the main character is going to be a female or a male. You end up finding out in some of the pages but it is cool how they make it suspicious. So many characters also got introduced in the first 40 pages.

In the book i can connect to in page 28 when the teacher told Jean Louise to go in the corner. In Puerto Rico if i behaved bad in class the teacher made us stand in the corner for 20 minutes. I don't know how long in that time they made the kids stand in the corner. The book is kind of confusing too. The first chapter was like confusing i didn't know what was going on.
