I've read the first book in this series and they are very similar. In both books Percy has to go on a dangerous quest, and his friends are usually with him.

I don't like how Chiron was forced to leave the camp just because he was the son of Kronos. That's not fair to do just because they are related.

Who is Tyson? And why did Percy happen to find him.

The story is in first person point of view. "I don't think that would work (Riordan42). I don't think changing the point of view the book was written in would change the story much.
