Mere pages to go. This is awful. I am tired and it's late and I really need to sleep. Reluctantly I am putting the book down and will turn out my light. Ha, but I wake real early . . . and will be back in the story just as soon as can be.

Thoroughly enjoying this read. At times hints of the author's other life as a romance writer glimmer through. I could do without that, but, what the heck, it lightens things a bit, and so serves as a kind of comic relief.
