A prediction that I have for the next few chapters is that while Cassie is trying to travel somewhere else, she will find either another human along her way, or an alien disguised as one. She has already encountered a human but was forced to make the choice of to let him live or him being an alien that will kill her. I feel that this time she will recall her past mistakes and maybe befriend another human.

What I'm noticing about the author's writing style is that it differs from traditional writing style that I am used to reading. The book is written in first person and the author does a great job of making you feel immersed in the book by giving the reader insight on the thoughts running through Cassie's head. Every chapter, the author explains a little bit more about previous events from Cassie's point of view.

So far, I find the setting and plot of this story interesting. I like the post-apocalyptic setting where most of the worst thing have passed but now it's about surviving the aftermath. I also like the plot of how the aliens hide their true identity by appearing human. This forces people to separate and trust no one which leads to a lot of problems in their current situation.
