I’m so confused by the modern day romance part. We’re never told how old this guy is or really what he looks like besides the color of his hair. Then all he does is get tea and make lunch. A few sentences of him showing her London, and suddenly she’s dreaming about a transatlantic romance and how it can’t be? We get zero buildup at all.
