Philip Uggg... it’s late. Why doesn’t goodreads let you edit status updates? Forward slash? Back slash? This sucks.

Philip But the book is good.

Yaaresse You can edit an update...kinda-sorta. It's not ideal, but it will get the job done. I've used it when I accidentally entered pages read instead of percent read.

1. Under "Currently Reading," click on the book title. You should be on the book's main page.
2. Scroll down to "My Activity" and find "Status." There will be the date of your last update with the percentage read (or page number if you use that) as an active link.
3. Clicking on that active link takes you to UserName>BookName>StatusUpdate where all your activity for that book is listed. To the right, you'll see three active links, the last of which is "Delete this update." Click on that, it gets rid of your last update plus any comments.
4. Re-enter the update correctly.

They don't make it easy of fast, but it is possible.
