"Nothing is hopeless. Not while there's life" (Moore 67). This quote explores how the society and humanity is dependent on the ideology of surviving. Everything can be considered hopeless, though the obstruction of this hopeless sensation is life. With such a tremendous responsibility, people struggle to let go, serving the purpose in life. But what comes after is left to be undetermined and unknown.

"Protection? Who are we protecting them from?" (Moore 59). This quote explores the story outlined within the graphic novel, demonstrating the reality of superheroes and the dependency of how humanity faces the convenient route selfishly. The question itself expands to a bigger idea where it can be interpreted as the society is what is causing harm to itself, leading to question, what exactly is the danger of society.

"Somebody has to save the world.." (Moore 53). Especially with the implementation in this comic, the quote demonstrates how humanity relies highly on other factors to solve world problems. In the context of the story, the quote refers to the heroes being depended on easily, though I believe that the idea expands further than the relationship between heroes and humanity, it explores the idea of humanity and society.

"Never despair. Never surrender" (Moore 24). This quote explores the ideology of how you should never loose hope and surrender which in my opinion is highly reflected into the society today. Often, disappointment comes with despair and the desire to abandon all which has caused pain. Though, in order to push further and develop, these negative sensations should be neglected.
