A character conflict event in the part I read today was when the the boy wants to break up with the girl but she doesn't want him to break up with her, so she knows it is coming so she keeps putting it off and when he said something about it she was like "you don't really want to break up with me... do you?" and he doesn't want to be rude so he doesn't say anything and she just kisses him like nothing happened.

Right now in this book, I am at the part when Bunny wants Nasir to stay with him and his family because right now Nasir is living in his car and the grandma may move somewhere else. So Bunny is trying to be a good friend but also his family is struggling with money, so if Nasir stayed with them he would have to sleep on the couch or the floor. But as Bunny said that would be better than sleeping in the car.

In today's read Bunny really wants to play basketball in college without his parents paying a dime for it, so he is working hard and when his friends go out to eat instead of him buying food he saves the money for later in life. He said " So what if I'm hungry every now and then." Also we have found out where the name Bunny came from and the name came from his friend Nasir because Bunny " has hops".

I'm still getting into but so far, I know in this book Bunny accepts an athletics scholarship from across town and Nasir feels betrayed. So, I am going to predict that in the end Bunny will come back to Nasir and their families and they will be friends again, because they have been best friends for ever.
