Book kept my interest. Early on - lost sleep - work ignored. Also, the setting is somewhat familiar, that was pretty cool. Half way felt sometimes like reading a text book though -- one too many lessons -- second half preachy? That's not quite the right word but something close to preachy or after school special-like. Mood when done reading usually determine rating though and its flat. 3 stars

Have been quitting on books lately. 3rd book to start reading this week -- other two back on the 'to read' shelf for now. This book draws you in from the start -- really needed that. Actually excited to read more -- yay!
