There's a lot of foreshadowing that's making me uneasy about the trip the main characters going to take. I'm still disappointed with the romance of the book after they just confessed their love after two days without really having built a relationship. I hope that Karou is successful in meeting up with Brimstone again because he's my favorite character.

I predict that Karou is actually Akiva's ex-girlfriend who has been reincarnated or didn't actually die. I'm a little bit disappointed with this romantic plot since it seems like just fate is drawing them together and not any real chemistry between them.

I've just started so right now I'm mostly in an introduction to the story, characters, and the fantasy world. I've noticed I really like the authers word choice and writing style.
