It is very sad that Samantha can't learn like the other children. She is dyslexic and her mom is starting to realize that because she can't answer 5-2. Sam was taking piano until her teacher told her to stop because she could play a song amazingly the first time, but the second she would mess up.

Now Samantha is applying for a college for people with LD. She has to work at two jobs to pay for college. Sam is not very good at her job at the hotel. She is always forgetting to put towels back or clean the window. I really hope that Sam gets into this college because she said, "This is my dream college!"

This book is SO BORING. When I read it I nearly fall asleep. It is not interesting because I am not into LD books. But this time it was sort of nice. Sam had written a series of poem compressed into one book. She had gotten it published. The book sold 3,000 copies. It was a huge inspiration to many of the readers.

Sam had a meeting to discuss her disabilities. Almost everyone blamed her parents that she can't learn. They stated that her parents are stopping her from learning correctly, which is not the case. Also, Sam's anxiety has gone away. She does not worry about eating or throwing up!

This novel is so boring. It is just about Sam and how she has dyslexia. In the novel, Sam is becoming scared that she will vomit and embarrass herself in front of her friends. Every night she needs her parents to stay in her bed because she is scared. This is very boring because I don't want to read about a girl who bugs her parents to help her with her vomiting phobia.
