Ive finished The Beckoning Fair One and I thought it was brilliant. I can see why he inspired Algernon Blackwood and H.P. Lovecraft and they both regarded this as one of the most effective and subtle ghost stories in all literature.

Cool! I love HPL, and have never heard of Oliver Onions, but I'm always looking for more good literary ghost stories. Added to my TBR list. Thanks Georgina! 😊😁
