Jazz is finally going to help investigate the murder upon Jane Doe. Jazz seems to have the enough knowledge and skills to help Howie in the investigation and I personally believe that he has indeed the enough potential to lead the police to a follow up investigation. I think it's crazy how Jazz can handle all that. I guess those are the pros of having a father as a serial killer.

Howie and Jazz got caught being in the room where they weren't suppose to. They were about to get arrested but William let them off with a warning. Detective Erickson was not happy or pleased with William's answer to let them go. What scares me a bit about this book iis the fact that Billy (Jazz's father/serial killer) had said that he was sure Jazz would get into the family business, meaning killing...I hope not....

Howie and jazz continue in the autopsy room investigating and gathering evidence from Jane's body. As they're investigating Howie suffers from a severe bloody nose that leaves blood stains on the floor and on his mouth and chin. Jazz gets startled because he doesn't want to contaminate evidence. They clean up the mess. I'm not starting to believe in Jazz's theory; this was done by a serial killer.

Jazz is coming up with more theories on who killed Jane. He argues with Howie, his friend, on the person who committed this murder. Jazz KNOWS that this person is a serial killer and not a first timer since the killer took Jane's fingers as a trophy. I feel like Jazz would be one great detective if her ever decided to enter that field. They way he gained his knowledge isn't all that great though, but still useful.

Jazz still wants to help out in the investigation of the murder of the Caucasian woman but officer William will not let him get anywhere near being involved. Jazz feels like he would do great help since he picked up a lot of information from his father being a serial killer. I'm in a way, afraid for Jazz because I feel like all these negative things his been through because of his dad, he'll turn out the same way.

Jazz is wondering who has murdered the naked woman as he watches from near the bushes. He claims that his father finally being locked up is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I don't know how I feel being the child of a serial killer. A SERIAL KILLER. I would be scared, but at the same time shocked with the fact that my father has the enough guts to kill hundreds of people. His motives are still unknown.

I find an introduction on who Jazz is which is the son of a serial killer that was put in prison four years ago.
