I picked this up at an old thrift store a few years ago because the title seemed intriguing. I managed to read the first chapter and though it was very good, I put it back on the shelf and it’s sat there ever since. I decided to try reading it again because I have more time on my hands. I’m three chapters in and loving it! It’s written very beautifully and I can’t wait to see where the story goes :)

I took this book with me on my spring break trip to Captiva Island and had hoped to make it this far along by the end! After lots of reading on the beach, I did it! At this point in the book I can see the story start to pick up, the love story within it more so. Still liking it!

I continue to really like this book! There are moments while I read it that I find myself making facial expressions at the pages, eagerly reading the next line. Sometimes I even have a quick quiet chuckle to myself. I like when a book brings that out of me.
I wouldn’t say that this is an outstanding read, but I will say I’m glad I have it on my shelf. Obviously I haven’t finished it, but I enjoy it thus far!
