Secured the library copy again! Love how Price has such depth of knowledge of the Vikings without overly romanticizing them.

Absolutely distraught I have to return this to the library today. Love the author's voice & structure of the chapters, as well as the critical questions on interpreting the motivations & reality of the distant past. Will be checking our again to finish as soon as its available.
