Ashley falls but Alex catches Toby, and now Toby is going to escape with them. Later on Alex gets in trouble with the skulls, and has to let Gary the psychopath come with them to live. They wait a couple more days and then there all set to escape. THe day is here and they are ready, but a kid named Jimmy yells "Escape" as soon as they try. THey get to Room 2 and blow up the Rock. They look down at the river and jump.

In kitchen duty, Alex finds a new plan to get out. He is going to fill the kitchen gloves with gas to make the crack in room 2 bigger, so they can escape. Before ging back to thei cell. Alex sees the 2 new kids, Tobs and ashley hanging from the railing. They were going to jump. (its abut 9 floors.) Alex sprints up to tell them not to jump. Alex finally gets there and tells them not to jump.

Finally Donovan and Zee accept that there might be a way out. They make a plan , so they can go check out the room again. Donovon distracts the guards and they go in. THey find a crack in the ground, that leads to the waterfall down below, but it is way to small to just go into. Alex is crushed and think there is no way out anymore.

Alex Goes to Room 2 where he thinks there might be a possibility of escape. He breaks off the boards on the doorway and crawls in. He hears footsteps and a growl he quickly gets out and nearly gets caught from a guard, but the guard didnt see him come out, so he lets him go. He tells Zee and Dovovan about the roar he heard. He knows it wasnt a dog because he would have been dead.It hit him, It was a underground river

Alex is thinking about a new way to escape the furnace. Donovan and Zee think tis impossible to escape the furnace, but Alex thinks otherwise and has a feeling that there is. While he thinks about that,New inmates arrive and one of the kids, Gary, is tall and buff. He takes on the skulls and even breaks the head leaders arm. They think Gary's there savior from the Skulls, but hes actually a psychopath.

In my book right now, there is kid named Alex who got framed for killings his friend and has been sent to the Furnace. Which is a jail. But its not a regular jail, its far worse. I would be terrified to go somewhere like the furance. Alex also causes trouble on the 2nd day hes there causing a gang wanting to kill him because alex got one of their members accidentally killed.
