On the cover of the edition I'm reading says: "a novel about Internet sex". Don't be misled by this. It is about much, much more. Deep, disturbing, beautifully touching at times and questing.

Hoban – from the little I've so far read of him – always seems to manage to perfectly blend the intellectually rich with the physical and/or "lowbrow". Intriguing, titillating, disturbing and flatteringly clever.
