i really like isobel but she was barely given a role in this book :/ & she’s the only character that i feel a slight connection with

the story is surprisingly interesting atm

okay so it’s like this book knew i was only giving it a chance up until the 50% mark because things have FINALLY started to get interesting!!

i’m getting impatient :/ if this book doesn’t hook me by 50% i might dnf it

this book grabbed my attention in the beginning but it’s slowly losing me :( i’m over 100 pages in already so i thought the pace of the story would have picked up by now
