I've always let Ishtar get away with a lot. It's weird I love Tal but I'm never jealous of Ishtar, and I've never hated her for all the stupid things she did even when it ended up hurting Tal. Like I kind of feel sorry for her because girl I get it, Tal is so... I swear there's no English word to describe how amazing Tal is. I think my brain would be fried if I met someone like Tal. I would probably lose all my brain cells and do really, really stupid things because he's SO BEAUTIFUL INSIDE.
I just remember all the times she loved him so openly, desperately, vocally, and with such generous affection. Protecting him, Challenging her sister and ohmygod I need to read all of Tal's books again Tal you are the most amazing noble manly man with the strongest convictions and ideals.
I guess I'm swayed by his conviction in Ishtar, in a way. Because THIS upstanding, honorable man chose her and found her worthy of his love.
