It’s nitpicking, but I hate that the main character keeps calling the rape victim “the alleged victim” during the course of the trial. No good journalist would do that. The crime may be alleged (so “alleged rapist” is correct) but you never would suggest a victim is not a victim. That’s, like, crime reporting 101. ::grumble::
