I am liking the book so far, the books is focusing so far on slavery and civil rights movements. It talks about how we are seeing somethings back in segregation days in days now. A quote that stood out to me is "How can you say that a racial caste system exist today? Just look at Barack Obama! Just look at Oprah Winfrey!" That is really interesting to me because I've been in a debate with someone about this topic

Jessica Hutchison If you are interested in this topic and haven't seen the documentary '13th' yet, I highly recommend it. They have interviews with Michelle Alexander throughout.
