I’m reading this book because I have no idea what preaching is. And when I have no idea about anything as it relates to theology, I begin with Barth.
Anyway, Karl and I are already vibing “[Barth] banishes “Introductions” from sermons not merely because they are trivial but because he will not allow the theological notion of a “point of contact””

Let us know what he says. I, unfortunately, can't identify any purpose to sermons anymore, so I'd like to hear what the GOAT's thoughts on the matter.
